Müller

Just as good if not better than I remembered it! I love the high acidity. It is a mix of underripe and bruised apples plus herbs and spices. Perfect for summer!

My wine merchant reliably tells me this is one of only five “orange” (extended skin contact white) wines currently available in the state of Arizona. Life among barbarians (and I’m a third generation native of the state), or maybe we just need better wine sales directors and distributors here. Anyway, off the soapbox, and about the wine: yellow-green, brilliant clarity, fruity, fairly dry, good acidity. Almond, lemon, orchard fruit - apricot, nectarine, pear flavors, good light skin astringency on the finish, soft mouthfeel, slightly viscous. Give it time, at least one hour to develop. Tasty and good, delicate but I’m not wowed by it. I think it might be a question of the limits of what this variety is capable of. The winemaking craft here is admirable though

A Müller with some age. Was in Lost & Found in my Cellar. Alas i think aging these does not make sense for these better drink them young. Needs air more in 30min. Interesting almost like a white sherry. Good acidity. Hint Jasmine. Musty.

Excellent. Restrained, balanced, with a sharp edge. Great Muller.

Skin contact Müller Thurgau aka orange wine. Fantastic bottle. More acidic than in the past which helps to lift this wine to new hights. More serious than in the past and a contender for the best white at this price-point. Very clear unlike previous iterations. Wild apple, gooseberry, 🍋. Tried again white Guava while sitting under an Argon blanket.

Peaches, waxy, some sort of sweet perfumed flower/dandelion.

Crazy value. We gave it air for most of the day. This stuff is pure joy. Pear, stone fruits, unreal freshness. So quenchable.
