Juicy, layered—full frame and orchard fruit, tropical, nice richness

Tropical fruit-forward / medium acidity, slight bitterness / amazing QPR—also not totally convinced this is 100% chardonnay 🤷🏻‍♂️

My favorite Spanish Chardonnay - have it every time I come to Barcelona....
Lovely nose, crisp fresh, honeyed and slight buttery flavors on the palate.

As good as Chardonnay gets in Somontano (to me one of the best, if not the best, region for that in Spain). Lovely delicate white boned fruit and fine acidity

#somontano #enate #chardonnay Medium lemon color, intense primary aromas of jazmin and elderflower accompanied with aromas of ripe pineapple, ripe pear and quince. Secondary aromas of caramel, vanilla and petrol. Medium+ body, medium+ intensity flavors (less intense than in previous vintages...thank God).

It's almost impossible to get a better #chardonnay at a better price #qpr #enate Chardonnay was and has been ahead of its time. It hasn't been fermented in oak and yet it has a creaminess and mouthfeel that makes you think it has. If there's one downside to this wine, it's that there are times and/or places when it tastes awesome and other times when it just seems ok to me. 2015 vintage is off the hook.

Never though I would taste, much-less like, a Chardonnay from Northeastern Spain; from the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains to be exact.

It has a pale gold color with pear, peach, apple, and some tropical aromas. The fore pallet is consistent with the aromas plus deep notes of passion fruit and honey suckle on the mid pallet. Dry with a medium-round body, medium acidity, and a clean refreshing finish.

PS Producer claims it is hundred percent unoaked Chard; hard to believe, imho. A very new and welcoming alternative to acidic-citrus-explosive New World Chardonnay, I suppose…
