Really impressive. Decanted for half an hour and this was ready to go. Relatively bold in style with crushed raspberry, blackberry, and black cherry on top of earth and finely tuned tannins. Personally wouldโ€™ve liked more restrained oak use but at the end of the day itโ€™s hard to put this down. A delicious Pinot with aging potential.

Light ruby purple color. Fleshy style with generous fruit offering notes of black cherry, plum, tea, and roses supported by fine tannins and good acidity. Sourced from vineyard at 300-500 feet planted to mixture of Pommard and Dijon clones 115 and 777 aged 10 months in 50% new French oak. 13.5% ABV. $60.

Transparent ruby in the glass with red fruit, violets and earthy aromas. Tart red fruit flavored, earth, sweet tea and drying tannins. Nice acidity. Decant and give this wine time in the glass. You will be rewarded. Enjoy with salmon, roasted chicken, pork or veal.

Classic cherry notes. Still young, yet has soft tannins.

๐Ÿ‘€ Gorgeous translucent dark ruby in the
middle transcending to pink then a clear
rim.
๐Ÿ‘ƒ Roses, tea,,dark cherry, plum, raspberry
anise, potting soil, and baking spices.
๐Ÿ‘… Smooth, fleshy, earth, tea, cherry,
plums, violets, raspberry and spice.
๐Ÿ•ฐ Allow time to air. Realistically it needs
more years to develop.

Consistently well made and easy to drink wines from Elk Cove Vineyard. Smooth, well balanced. Fair price for the quality. Would happily drink again.

Well balanced. Needs about 20-30 minutes to open up. Great fruit with an elegant finish. Surprisingly a little thin before opening up.
