Elisabeth & Francois Jourdan
Vieilles Vignes Cinsault
2017. Little gassy, but blew off. Cherry cola, herbs, soft dusty tannins, hint of orange zest, licorice and nice acid. Fun wine.

Nov 18th, 20222015, but felt like it was in its way out or maybe had experienced some heat. Either way, was still good. Some cranberry and herbal notes but had a woody and jammy character once on the palate.

Very fruity. Acidity comes through. Needs to pair with a strong milk cheese or grilled meat.

Jun 21st, 2020Very good wine - first sip very dry with tart berry flavors. The wine mellowed on the pallet as you drank and paired well with cheeses. Interesting grape varietal!

Mar 23rd, 2019Spicy red fruit forward. Dry, medium body. Great to drink alone, or with charcuterie or other light fare.
