Edna Valley Vineyard
Central Coast Sauvignon Blanc
Founded in 1980, Winery is a partnership between Chalone Wine Group and Paragon Vineyard, defining the Central Coast appellation for which it is named. Aromas of tropical and citrus fruits and subtle spice. On the palate melon and peach flavors with citrus zest, vivid acidity, nicely balanced on medium finish. Good value. Tasting Sample.

Feb 13th, 2018A pleasing blend of light citrus--orange, lime--and grassier earthier notes. But the whole effect is not muddy or heavy at all! A delightful change from the grapefruity Sauvignon Blancs that I usually seek out.

Apr 19th, 2016Trying a new white for fun.
Color: light and pale straw yellow
Nose: green apples and cleaning wipes
Palate/Finish: only taste besides metallic is granny smith apples, acidity is a little high for the short finish and body. But it is refreshing.
Opinion: not worth the price but decent if a pinch of green apples and refreshing towelettes before licking steel is what you want to dig in to!

Muted aromatics, Reduced (burnt rubber). Very disappointing & I dumped the bottle. I know what Edna Valley is capable of producing & this bottle is not it.
