Vieilles Vignes Ladoix Pinot Noir

Nice tannins intermingled with bright red fruit.

Herbal nose. Raspberry, cherry with some defined cranberry on the nose. Mushroom-Earth on the palate. Clay / clay point. Medium- body, with a nice medium acid structure. Leans elegant. Literally dreamt of this palate that night and it was very Wuthering Heights, if that makes any sense.

Slightly preserved green leaf vegi note, sour red cherry, unrepentant strawberry, raspberry, sulfite, med plus acidity, med body and tannin, earthy, brown mushrooms, licorice. Smoky, with some all spice. Didn't get any floral note on the nose.

From an 09 Cote de Beaune tasting (reds). I thought this was the wotn. Though most of the 09's we tasted could still use some extensive cellaring.
