Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

I’m gonna be in Chicago for like 4 days next week. Any of you guys out there down to grab a drink? Maybe a bite..?

I remember trying this in 1989 and if was unyielding. The wine is almost approachable now put still a little prickly like a disgruntled postal worker.

Once again I'm in Bordeaux. Elevated acid and thoroughly delicious.

Sour black cherry, menthol notes, r dressing acidity. Delicious.

Better out of Magnum

A disappointing vintage - perhaps too late in the wine’s evolution even in a magnum.

Medium-dark ruby-purple, blackcurrants, cedar, earthy, almost a dusty note, excellent depth, long finish, very good Cal Cab!!

Went deep into the cellar for this bottle. Deep red, very little oxidation, took about two hours to fully open. Plum, cassis,earthy notes, a little tart on the finish, fabulous bottle of wine

Elegant, nicely developed, beautifully resolved wine with notes of eucalyptus, leather and blue and red fruits. Two bottles at thanksgiving dinner, consistent notes. Excellent.
