A blend from 5 premier estate vineyards and aged in French oak (35% new). Medium lemon with aromas of stone fruits, citrus, spice and floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, peach and pear with creamy citrus, biscuit, honeysuckle and nutty toasty oak. Smooth, long finish, well balanced with savory acidity, ending with fruit and yeasty mineral character. Nice!

The 2019 Chardonnay Wester Reach is a terrific appellation level wine. Crushed rocks, lemon confit, slate and green orchard fruit all grace this taut, nervy Russian River Chardonnay. The 2019 is beautifully done. The blend of sites is 30% DuMOL Estate, 22% Dutton-Morelli, 16% Flax Estate, 16% Heintz and 16% Ritchie. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, September 2021)

Very well made chardonnay in a richer style. Citrus and honeysuckle with a creaminess to the texture and an oak kissed finish.

Yum! This wine is medium lemon 🍋 with robust notes of ripe yellow pear, white peach, nectarine, cantaloupe, also butter cream, cedar, nutmeg, vanilla and wet stone. Rich and balanced. A perfect complement to the meal of pan-seared sea scallops next to a farro salad and braised leeks with Parmesan. 🥂🥂

Loved this Chardonnay from DuMol. Enough oak to get your attention, but still maintained the RRV character. Meyer lemon, apricot and stone fruit. Gave it a good hour and it really blossomed. Lingering finish with a hint of acidity.
