The 2019 Chardonnay Wester Reach is a terrific appellation level wine. Crushed rocks, lemon confit, slate and green orchard fruit all grace this taut, nervy Russian River Chardonnay. The 2019 is beautifully done. The blend of sites is 30% DuMOL Estate, 22% Dutton-Morelli, 16% Flax Estate, 16% Heintz and 16% Ritchie. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, September 2021)

Very well made chardonnay in a richer style. Citrus and honeysuckle with a creaminess to the texture and an oak kissed finish.

Nicer than the average rating for the vintage. Crisp with a balance of oak and butter. Fruit included pear, mango, kiwi. Great with lobster and scallops.
