Heck of a 3rd Friday to kick off the holidays!
Stemmy, possibly whole cluster? Charred rhubarb, violet, and lavender potpourri on the nose. Crunchy cranberry too. A slight hoisin sauce note which is captivating on the palate. Blackberry, cherry, and cedar.

Limited production hailing from the Finn Vineyard that shows so well. Soft and elegant no hard edges. Cinnamon and Baking Spice. Finish reviles hints if smoke and baked apple. Delish.

Finn is always a winner. DuMOL Estate Vineyard + Occidental Road Vineyard. Lovely and juicy. Floral nose of violets. Beautiful tannins. Russian River Valley is hard to beat.

Jul 13th, 2018This limited production PN shows spiced cherry pie, menthol and dried herbs 🌿 on the nose, then changes on the next swirl to a blueberry cobbler. Super intense yet shows no weight. Soft and seductive, reveals a tarry element and cigar smoke. Finish is focused showing depth and a lengthy mineral finish.

One of the pros rated this very highly. I beg to differ. Textured and complex, but not hugely memorable. Oak treatment is really nice. I’ll cellar the others I have, but I don’t hold out much hope.
