Eddie's Patch Russian River Valley Syrah

Boozy hump day and this doesn’t suck!
A beauty of a Syrah. None of the pepper and olive notes, just fruit and and glorious structure. Smooth, yet textured. Overall, so well balanced. First time trying this, and it won’t be the last.

Viscous dark red cherry with a back. Ground of savory meat. Impressive!

Baby back ribs and smoked brisket made the perfect pairing with this - dark plum with a spice box back palette. This bottle has aged well.

Perfect balance, integration, and finesse. A really nice wine that has hit its stride. If you have any, drink them!

Dark chewy chocolate, blackberries, expresso roast, cracked black & white pepper, stewed plums, raspberry liquor, violets, iron minerals, cocoa powder and a sweet tar finish. Paired well with the braised short ribs.

Black cherry, green olive, mocha, bacon. Fairly rich, while very focused.

2010. Smoky, meaty, savory, fruity. Yes please!

Lovely floral and hint of black pepper and a meaty character. Beautiful texture.
