Wow. Nothing subtle. A big Cali blend. But very nice and decent balance. Powerful robusta style. Not syrupy. Chocolate, tobacco, ripe cherry. Not my usual preference but it’s thanksgiving and I like it! Don’t think I would buy this for myself (it was a gift).

Loved this wine. Great backbone with blue and dark fruit that lasted awhile. Drank over 3 hours.

It’s hard to understand why one would spend this amount of money on a bottle of wine until you properly decant and glass this excellent wine, and then, and then it all makes sense.
