Well aged, showing some lovely secondary development with nice underlying fruit (citrus notes) and acidity. The cork was completely stuffed and the wine had to be decanted. Fortunately it was not otherwise spoiled.

Dry and full of mineral on the nose with notes of petrol, beeswax and white flowers. Full, luscious and creamy on the palate. A mouthful of fresh acidity leads to flavors slate and stone with slight herbal notes. The finish is long, full and mouth coating.

Tastes like a clapped out 30 year old Rheingau. I don't think this is ageing well at all, although I was in the minority.
