Every now and then I will break out a Bordeaux, usually with at least a few years in bottle. Inevitably I get something that is underwhelmingly aged in poor oak with rampant brettanomyces and sadly this is no exception. Ripe one/dimensional red fruit, dull oak, bacteria etc etc.....

2012 vintage. Great Pinot. On par with The Elder 2013 vintage. — 5 months ago
An elegant rustic Languedoc offering. Slightly dusty tannins with mouthwateringly juicy fruit, no great length but a nice acid structure. Easy drinking. — 7 months ago
