It has prevalent citrus flavors of grapefruit and lime, with a nice touch of minerality in the form of slate and saline. Citrus, lychee, pomelo, allusion of grapefruit. Light and refreshing without overpowering acidity. Great minerality, clean finish.

In 1972, when David S. Stare opened the doors to DCV, it was the first new winery to be built in the Valley since Prohibition. DCV created the first Sonoma Fume Blanc, originated the Dry Creek Valley AVA. Straw with stone fruit and citrus aromas. On the palate Granny Smith apple and grapefruit flavors with lemon zest wrapped in a juicy acidic frame. Nicely balanced on medium finish ending with mineral tones. Nice value. Tasting Sample.
