Redolent of brushy herbs—rosemary, sage, thyme, and lavender—plus black bramble fruits and high notes of sweet forest. Clean and supple-textured on the palate, its fruit feels decorous and polite. This is a wine that’s all about suppleness and quiet elegance. 13.5% | $25 (sample)

DCV does it again, continuing to impress. I must visit this region some day. Beautiful lush berries, cedar, vanilla bean followed by cassis and licorice. Big, bold, yet well integrated tannins that balance everything to perfection! Vintage2010

2012 Dry Creek Cab made with fruit from the Western slopes in the Dry Creek Region. Delicious flavors of cherries and cranberries- very smooth on the finish with soft underlying tannins and red fruit. Great surprise!!

The Dry Creek CS has a deep purple color, tempting aromas of sweet cherries, ripe plums, black olives, a touch of sweet port, and cedar wood, full body with full dry tannins, still very young and needs to open up. Quiet elegant in style and has good supporting acidity. Medium- long finish. My score 88, drink to 2023
