Drappier
Zéro Dosage Brut Nature Champagne Pinot Noir
Husk cherries, papaya, gooseberry, green apples, yeast and tart yellow fruits on the nose. Dynamic palate that’s fruity, mineral, savory and so broad but with perfectly blazing acid. Long and expressive.

Dec 24th, 2018Celebrated the last day of my old Job and the beginning of a new adventure with a delish bottle of bubbly and some close friends. I usually subscribe to more Blanc de Blanc styles of champagne, but this Blanc de Noirs is killin it. Brut nature, old school champagne house and it shows - beautiful autolysis bready yeasty aromas with a gorgeous baked caramel apple thing going on on the palate. Love this sexy beast.

Sep 9th, 2018Notes from memory. A tasty and fairly round Brut Zero. Fans of Pinot Noir based Champagnes will be quite happy with this. A very satisfying NV, if not that exciting.

Aug 8th, 2018hell yes! gimme some oysters! brilliant, lean, mineral, white cherry. i would not have guessed that it was zero dosage if i tasted it blind. That’s some gorgeous fruit.

Dec 12th, 2017From a renowned low dosage house Drappier is also a low sulphur house -clear as bell with golden apples, quince, and a tangy leesy lift. Despite the knee jerk sommeliers geeking out on low and zero dosage even when some sites do not compliment such a style, the Aube where this was born has a warmer ripened fruit that can really work wonders with this style. Scrumptious...

Oct 23rd, 2016This stunning wine is a Blanc de noir and while it does not actually say rosé on the label it does have a slight blush - not the red tone you'd expect from a saignée wine but the same burnished gold richness that typifies Krug rosé. This is as richly flavored and well-balanced a Champagne as I've had in a long time. Great depth of Apple and brioche and such richness that despite the stunning freshness you'd swear it had a solid dosage. But all that richness comes from fruit ripeness, a Drappier hallmark. Beautiful on its own or with food
