Dec 25th, 2018Picked this bottle up at the winery on a FLX region exploration trip about two years ago, drinking well tonight.
Nose is candied citrus, wet slate, honey and spring tree flowers.
Palate has sweet apple, pineapple, medium RS level, medium acidity, medium minerality with nice finish.
A great QPR for $13-14, plus a good FLX vintage. Nice to be able to compare the Dry to the Semi-Dry this evening.

Medium plus acidity (doesn’t hit until back palate and finish), medium body, medium long finish. All of (North American) Riesling’s character to satisfy Riesling nerds, just dry enough for those who think they should’ve “graduated” from “sweet wines” and a mouth-watering backbone of acidity that freshens without searing off your gums. White fleshed fish in a cream sauce or a Waldorf salad with baked chicken breast would be nice. Roasted pork loin would be natural.
