Graacher Himmelreich Spätlese Riesling

Clear deep straw yellow, subtle fruit aromas. Palate shows orange citrus and tropical fruit flavors, off-dry style. The wine shows lively acidity, touch of spice with a semi-dry sweetness. Nice food friendly wine. Tasting Sample.

Nice bottle at a great price. Great QPR at $30. Golden color with sweet honey flavor, clean fruit flavor, but weak in the finish.

Mild but full of flavor with mineral, green apple, and nectarine. Lightly sweet but holds up well to food. Screw top and fruity, an easy on the go picnic wine.

Medium bodied and mineraly.

Golden and sirupy. Strong fruit aromas (peach, apple, citrus) with none of the usual gasoline scent of Rieslings. Full bodied, sweet but not too sweet and crisp. It even has a little fizz. Well balanced intense flavors of peach, plum, grapefruit, and minerality. Outstanding.

Tasted in 2016: Apples, peaches, and Mosel slate with hints of citrus.

A tad bland on the nose and palate. Not very exciting. $27
