Cuvée Vendémiaire Blanc de Blancs 1er Cru Brut Chardonnay

One I have not seen at the shops I get to in Ca.

This is pleasant. Nice soft, delicate mousse. Micro oxygenation. Some softly bruised red & green apple/pear, undertones of lemon-lime zest, tropical melons, brioche notes, ginger, limestone, grainy chalkiness, sea spray, graham cracker, malt, yellow lilies with a splash of Spring flowers, soft but lively acidity, very well balanced, nicely tensioned, smartly elegant polish that lasts minutes.

NYE 2020. Questionable year deserves confident bubbles. Aged solera style - 20% coming from Grand Cru parcels. Fixes itself into a beautiful space of white lemons, crushed oyster shell, pillows of raw bagel dough. Bone dry and acid made for puckering.

Electric Chardonnay. Very lean, but with nice preserved lemons and raw hazelnuts and fresh cream. Excellent minerals, some iodine, some note of cleanliness. Good texture, with leesy creamy texture on the roof of the mouth.
