Great blend. Super creamy with clear signs of oak. Complex, floral and thoughtful. Paired well with crab cakes on our anniversary.

Pretty sure this is the same fruit that used to go into the Sluice Box, but without the partial skin contact. While I miss the texture the skins added, there is something very pretty in this incarnation of the wine. Lots of floral aromatics, and a beautiful balance between the acidity and the stone/citrus fruit that walks the line between herbal and soft. Pretty great, but I still miss the Sluice Box.

2022. The wine is now from the Fenaughty Ranch vineyard. Creamy apple upfront with nice acidity on the finish. Paired great with a local washed-rind cheese with apple and a burrata caprese salad.

JL tasting 5/8/18. ABV 12.2. $38 Claudette 50%, rest Picpoul, Vermentino, Roussanne, Grenache Blanc. Slightly orange straw color with very interesting nose of acids, minerals and white fruits with very long complex finish. Very intriguing.
