Meursault Les Narvaux Chardonnay

Toast and chilled apples on the nose; on the palate quite acidic, not really fruit-led. Lean but not round.

Loads of lemon and minerals. Crisp, clean, complex.

A little buttery on the surface but plenty of depth and complexity underneath. Pretty spectacular showing.

Young of course but very intense for a village. Narvaux almost a 1er

Quite mineral driven and spritzy the first day. Mellowed out after 18 hours. Meyer lemon, yes i have these in my garden, jasmine on the back palate, and…. white peach. Again sadly 100$+. But i think folks should try these types of wines to know what quality white Burghs are about - and then give it a rest - if you are not hooked.

Almost too good for local backyard harvested clams, mussels, oysters. Almost.

Golden. This has received some pretty high reviews. 2nd bottle and my last. I would be drinking these. Mine, stored properly, are not holding up.

Rich citrus & orchid fruit hits the palate followed by a racy, precise almost a linear style with mineral, wet stone, chalk, acid & white flower.
