Not much earth and terroir, somewhat muted in the nose. Very ripe in style on the palate, showing back and red fruits throughout. Lower acid levels with a medium to long finish.

Decanted separately two bottles for Christmas lunch Took time to open and second showed benefit of longer time to open with notes of wood with earth, cassis, black cherry and a hint of earthy floor. Showed excellent performance and flavours that also possessed benefit of cellaring and results in tremendous length and finish. Top notch and likely will develop further

Surprisingly open and expressive, albeit after giving plenty of air time. Red fruits, minerals, a bit of earth, and meat/muscle, and most importantly memories of a great visit to see Dominique in Gevrey back in 2017! Excited to see how the rest of these evolve
