A lot of aromatics tonight, almost smells like a red wine and maybe it should being a Clarete. Made by blending red and white grapes together take a rose wine from Tempranillo, Grenache, Bobal and Blanca del Pais.
Grapes are not destemed, foot trodden crushing and direct pressing, alcoholic
fermentation in used oak barrels, no clarification or fining. Amazing stuff any wine lover should try as this technique is centuries old. Oh and it should age too!

A good wine but very different from a Provençal Rosé. This wine is closer to a Beaujolais than a Rosé. It is more appropriate as a pre-dinner aperitif than a Summer Rosé. Good but perhaps overpriced. Quite acidic in the finish, and tangy to start.

Wonderful blend of red/white rather than Rosé. Fresh, aromatic, a wonderful surprise.

Delicious! Light tasting but heavy fruit- don’t let the dark color throw you. Completely different from a Provence rosé, but in a good way.

Another rare wine from a moment ago that I hope has made it to US shores by now. If not spring/summer isn’t quite here yet. There’s still time. If you see it. BUY!

Just as a typical northern Spanish rose, this one has enough tannins and strength to break your teeth. In a good way.

Wow. Unreal color. Deep translucent ruby. Wild raspberries. Most tannic rose I've ever had. Can taste oak treatment. Slight glycerine mouthfeel. Looooooong finish. Well made.
