Kessler Alsace Grand Cru Riesling

Beautiful gewurtz that paired nicely with a dinner of spicy, smokey, and citrus sushi and wagyu beef dishes.

Pale golden yellow. Beautiful aromatics of honeysuckle, nectar, apricot and lychee. Features a medium sweet and fruit forward palate with tropical fruits, starfruit, apricot, mango, and peach. Underlying it all is a slate and mineral component, like petrichor. Good acidic structure.

Moelleux, is the term that fits the bill. Herby nose, Sweet, but still full of the typical gewurtztraminer flavours. Like lychee, apricot. Nice bottle.

Medium lemon color with an intense nose of petrol, wet stone, white peach, lemon and toast. Quite dry with with a fruity impression of sweetness. High acidity, medium bodied with 13.5% abv. On the palate, lemon, white peach, blossom, green apple and hone. Long Finish. Though it lacks a bit of intensity it is a very good wine.

Waxy, oily, tart lemon, and lots of wet stone. Ripping acidity.

Delicious, have not had Shlumberger in a while and this one was drier then I recall the GCs being. White peach and citrus, touch of petrol. Excellent value..

Very appealing mix of honey'd tropical fruit and sweet floral notes. A fullness to the attack but acidity really washes through, slightly off balance at the mo but plenty of character & promise. Prickly citrus fruit on the finish. Cellar

Gift from Garrett and Tiffany. Had for a very long time. Good. Perhaps a bit too sweet for me but definitely very drinkable.
