Popped and poured at La Buvette. Dark garnet with an opaque core. No visual signs of age. Consumed over three hours. Initially reticent but after about 30min, it started to show off. On the nose, dark cherries and cocoa. On the palate, dark chocolate cherry cordial, espresso and baking spices. Tannins built up over time and there’s fantastic acidity. Lovely stuff and seems built for the long haul. A super Bandol on the heels of Tempier and Pradeaux.

Nose might be a bit evolved, but rich and vibrant on the palate, with a touch of pleasant bitterness on the finish. Bandol can age folks.

Ripe, full tannins and a full body present a spicy, meaty Mourvèdre bursting with blueberries and blackberries. This one isn't shy, and it's amazing with lamb! 2004 vintage.

Enjoyable now but still has a long life ahead. Showing savory notes of meat juice, tar, pipe tobacco and wet fur with a slightly gritty tannin structure. From 375ml.

(**) Clear, dark ruby, some legs; red raspberry, black cherry, leather, white pepper on nose and palate; dry, med + body and alcohol; soft, big tannins; lingering finish; some capacity to further age. Ideal with grilled pork chop. Not complex, but interesting and delicious.

Transparant gold, barroled, shiny (limpide).
Spicy, vanilla, mineral, lemon cake.
Fat, lightly acid, melts, appel, rich and rond.
Todays day is nice to taste it, and can last 4 to 5 years more.
Excellent with a fish with cream!
