Clos Saint Urbain Rangen de Thann Riesling

Disappointing.

Beautiful wine. Just starting to amber in the glass. Very nice white fruit and flowers on the nose. Finish lacks just a bit of acid which keeps this from being even better. But still a delicious wine, especially paired alongside some simple Dover sole meunière and an asparagus torte for our 5 year anniversary.

Stunning and gorgeous Riesling. Apricots/Nectarines, Hazelnuts. Rich, full and balanced. Very long finish. Spectacular. This is why you cellar wine!

Excellent precision, length, and acid. A tropical fruit Jose gives way to a mouth filling palate, but one that expresses more on the mineral than fruit side. Nice long finish with puckering acid.

A complex spicy nose with rose, green fruit,hints of marmalade. Varied and fascinating...fresh but the acidity clips the palate to bone dry. Indicie 1. Fascinating and unusual
