Crushed stone, lemon/lime fruit, touch herbal, with bright acidity. Sushi meeting it’s match.

Jul 24th, 2018Loving the 2016 Burgundies, albeit a difficult harvest, those vines which survived made for wonderful bottles.
On the nose we have a bouquet of warm apple, citrus, mineral dust and white flowers.
The palate provides distinct citrus notes juiced over a granite-like flavor that leads to a noticeable touch of saltiness on the end of the finish.
Good QPR on this bottle, price of enjoyment was about $23.

1 person found it helpfulJun 1st, 2018Classic Chablis, albeit a bit on the simple side. Oyster shell minerality comes through along with fresh green apple and citrus. Aromatics are a little shy, but there is good texture on the mid palate and decent acidity. Serviceable entry level but not a great deal of excitement going on here.
