Similar notes to 65 weeks ago when I had the last one. A colour of pale to mid Gold. Delicate white florals initially with a touch of petro-chemical. Aromas of sweet pea (flower) and orange peel - citrus in general. As the wine developed, aromas of honeysuckle. On the palate notes of Quince with a sweetish honeyed end. One of the 1001 Wines from one of the world’s great Riesling vineyards which was originally planted and tended by monks in the 1500s.

Full body, minerally extreme citrus and pear. Way too young but already delicious.

Had it February 2009.
Delicate, citrusy, super pineapple, ginger, wet rocks, honey. Long, full body, elegant, but a little alcoholic in the finish.

Notes of honeysuckle and citrus, a smidge of sweetness but really balanced by the acid. Looooove.

Still has fruit but now adds a mineral almost saline finish with hints of beeswax. Zero residual sugar. A fantastic wine.

Dark orange, almost tawny. Nose of orange marmelade, rusty iron and beeswax. In the palate this feels kinda old and tired. Cooked apricots, orange peel, white sultanas, Asian spice and blonde tobacco. Dry.
Disappointing. Off-bottle? Not my style? Or just too old? Dunno.

Rich, fresh yellow peach and lemon honey brûlée, that stunning sense of the cool damp earth, salinity, rich and fresh at the same time. Delicious
