Pale lemon with stone and citrus fruit aromas and floral notes. Palate shows ripe fruit flavors of peaches, apples, honey and citrus zest. Medium+ finish good balance with lively acidity ending with fruit and mineral character.

Dec 10th, 2021 Star bright straw yellow. Inviting nose of baked quince and dried flowers. Medium full palate echoes the nose adding an earthy Royal Anne cherry and white pepper. Medium plus acidity from entry to moderate finish. Weinbach’s entry level PB has great balance and a complex palate that makes it the perfect foil for poultry, seafood, vegetables, or pork (especially). Drink now through 2025.

Nov 29th, 2021Yum. That wonderful tension between acidity and viscous feel. Mineral, earth, hint of mint. Long.

Signature Pinot Blanc aromas of Granny Smith apples and fresh-cut pears backed by notes of chalky minerals. Lovely lengthy finish with pineapple and peach notes that really round out this wine.

Sep 17th, 2023At least one source calls this 70% Pinot Auxerrois, 30% Pinot Blanc. Apparently, Auxerrois was historically used In Alsace for bastard varieties of unknown genealogy. With time, labels of Pinot Blanc often included the actual grape blended in to varying degrees. Blend or otherwise, this is focused, delicate, with a textured body. I thought it had less personality compared to her Sylavner cousin - equally beautiful, but less interesting. Color of hay with dry, austere Alsacian flowery orchard aromatics - a give towards pear over apple, with peaches and orange accents.
