Better than I expected from the vintage. Showing very good flavor depth and easy length.

This tasty Cornas worked nicely with the richer dishes. Fruit forward, it started to open up as we were finishing the meal and the bottle, so often the challenge with the second bottle at restaurants.

Slow to open but rewarded by patience with dark cherry fruits and lovely herbal and pepper notes with intense minerality.

Tight, still a puppy but great savoury nose, restrained palate mid-length finish

Classic Cornas! Minerals and full body with well balanced oak on the palate. Never done Cornas before? Do this one!

Young, vibrant, fresh, reductive, high acid, red and blue fruit, soft late tannins, low alcohol.

Initially the profile is very fruit-forward, but after a few minutes subtle mineral and herbaceous notes start emerging. Lacks a bit of mid-palate grip, but overall very easy to drink. Should improve with a few more years in the bottle.

Beautiful, purple, peppery, boysenberry and savory, minerally Syrah, countering what has been a monumentally shitty couple of weeks. And don't tell me not to get political. This is just me and my Syrah talkin, so unfollow if you don't like it.
