Fresh - Dark cherry, herbs, spice. Enough acid to stand up to red sauce. Consistent over two days but will be better with time.

This a beautiful, elegant wine. Tart cherry/cranberry fruit. Seamless and long.

Like walking into an old world cheese store and sampling a dried morello cherry that is so tart and fresh and smooth. Fantastic.

Did not quite live up for me. Might prefer the villages level Pataille which is excellent. This has ripe round fruit but not enough distinction.

More fruity than most burgs, but with a nice earthy complexity.
