This vintage is just as strong as Servin’s 17 vintage Les Clos grand cru. Vivid nose of honeysuckle and brioche explode from the stem. Palate is multi-layered and compact. Very tropical and contemporary expression of Chablis. This is just how we like these chards, and at $35 (Sokolin) it’s hard to improve upon. I’d welcome your proposals for comparison. We are always searching for new gems at the right price.

Wow. Just when I can’t take another slim, emaciated glass of lemon water, I luck out and get an old-school Chablis that isn’t afraid to show its class. Rich, but still refined and inspired.
