Wow. Love the nose on this one - pine needles, mulling spices, flint mineral, and dried flower petals. Had a lovely balance and rich ripe fruit to the pallet - blackberry and Bing cherry, and silky well integrated tannins. $45; I agree.

Impressive 2013 when most fell flat on their faces and made a Pinot that resembled rose, Serene came through this Yamhill is Cristomisk balanced cause it's usual over the top gloss and power is restrained and leaves a beautiful balance of structure and elegance, the top wineries continue to shine regardless of the year Soter, Cristom, Serene... etc St. Innocent

A delicate and rather old world approach to Pinot. Great cranberry, raspberry and dried cherries. Smokey spices, and baked vanilla comes into play as well.
