Beautiful fruit, flavor. Mature but plenty of time.

Monogram is a project initially started by Domaine Serene owner Ken Evenstad and the 2014 version is a simply breath-taking release. The Monogram is a limited production wine that is a barrel selection of what Ken and winemaker Michael Fay consider to be the choicest of lots. The wine is massive and brooding on the palate, showing a wonderful combination of dark and red fruits alongside wonderful earthy nuance —black truffle and peat moss — which all come into play. The wine finishes exceedingly long with dark fruits and minerals lingering on the stunning finish. This is a simply marvelous Pinot Noir which has the potential to evolve for decades. Drink 2019-2040- 96

Black cherry, currant, blackberry. A bit of cranberry and pomegranate. Baking spice, rose petals. M+ acid. M body. Balanced. Long finish.

Elegant from Oregon. I would suggest to drink sooner than later.

One of Domaine Serene's better efforts.
Worthy of another visit.
After leaving Napa yesterday and tasting Willamette Pinot is a bit difficult. That aside this is very good anytime.

The best Pinot Noir that I have ever tried from this producer. Amazing complexity -- notes of baking spice, earth, cherry pie, chocolate-covered strawberries, Chinese medicinal herbs, and so much more. At 14.3% alcohol, it is a big Pinot that drinks like a Cab. Highly recommended

Third bottle, this time a bit sharp. It’s inconsistent but still delicious.

At Saddle River Cafe. We’re revisiting our comments, and giving this Pinot noir an extra rating. It’s just delicious and drinks so smooth and rich with a great burger. Perfect!!

Pretty, pretty, good...#wine is still holding up like a champ. hint of reduction, highlighted by black cherry and integrated fine tannins
