Evenstad Reserve Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

This wine after 9 years is still big in Body and great in taste. Nice pepper, spice, minerals all while presenting a great lush fruit presence. I loved this Pinot! Paired with spaghetti!

Not worth the price. Alas. Decent Willamette Pinot but there are lots of less expensive wines that are its equal or better.

I usually write off this producer, but this was lovely pinot.

Red cherry, perfume, and spice. M+ acid, m body and soft tannin. Balanced.

This is very open, supple, and shows scads of fruit in a nicely integrated middle age stage. A bitter chocolate hit on the finish unwinds with air. This is nowhere near mature yet, only really becoming drinkable now, and has a long life ahead. One caveat: it's quite ripe and quite oaky so prepare your palate.

Too ripe for what I normally like from Pinot and Oregon.

In Magnum...Overrated. Not my bag.... Where's the earth? Where's the Oregon in this bottle?

Vanilla bean, bay leaf, orange rind. Velvet red fruit. Good balance. More subtleties to appear after a few more years.
