Côte Sud Vineyard Pinot Noir

Beautiful Cote Sud vineyard. At ten years, beautifully integrated with no signs of age.

Expectations might’ve been too high for this average wine

Chewy and hint raisin. Fruit started nice but these grapes may have been on the vine a tad too long. 2016

Big, dark, dense, heavy, really ripe fruit. Not really what I'm looking for in Oregon pinot.

Juicy, green, well structured. Time and place well captured.

Excellent wine to pair with wild caught Sockeye salmon.

Taught noble reduction hid the nose for awhile. Once it opened: dark and red fruit slightly dried. Nutmeg, cedar planks. Crushed lavender. Black tea. Lush and rich across palate. Retains some lightness while filling the whole palate. Firm, drying tannins. Acid is nicely balanced. Long, chewy finish.

Vibrant nose of fresh dark cherry, taste of prunes, pepper, tobacco, very well balanced with mellow tannins, creamy mouthfeel.

Red fruits, violets on the nose, medium body, great young pino qualities with oak, pleasant smooth finish.

Lovely nose of currant, floral and spice. Crisp and focused on the finish. Stunning aged Pinot.
