@Delectable Wine - This is 2015 Domaine Saint Gayan "Lea & Lea" Cotes du Rhone Rose.

Light bright salmon pink color. Fresh, fruity, and super clean. Good acidity for a wine from the southern Rhone. Fun quaffer!

Dark, blackberries, earth.

2013: Dark, heady, spicy. Very hot smelling. 95% from Sablet. Some from Plan de Dieu. Sablet is Safres, with PdD with limestone/Rolling Stones. Liquorice. Lacking depth or definition. Blackberry, grippy, but lacking acid. Lacking length too. Pleasing, forward but not inspiring

Burgundian nose in 2019, it had Piedmontese nose in 2017. Lighter and subtler than before.

Lots of tertiary development. Tar, resin and petrol.

Wouldn't get again

needs 15 mins to open up. Light red fruit with some leather and chalkiness on the mid palate and a tannic finish. Super tasty with blue cheese and/or steak.

Tobacco, dark fruits, and animal funk. A little tannin and fully flavored. Decent Rhone.
