Have you tried wine made from Grenache Gris yet?
Vranken-Pommery Australia have just released their new rosè vintage wines and I was so excited to test out this Domaine Royal de Jarras 2021 Pink Flamingo 🦩 Gris Tête de Cuvée.
It’s made the Grenache Gris grape 🍇. It’s definitely not as popular as the rest of its family - Grenache and Grenache Blanc so if you can get your hands on some, give it a whirl 😉
Every wine produced from the Estate is an expression of the Groups ongoing commitment to sustainable winemaking and biodiverse practises.
In the glass it’s a pretty pale peach. On the nose it’s so pretty, think florals, fresh herbs and red summer berries and stone fruits. It’s full of juicy flavour in the mouth with fantastic acidity. Dry and definitely satisfying.
