Super terroir-driven with game, black olive, blackberries and tar. Youthful but with medium complexity to allow some nice mid-term evolution.

Really nice. Could certainly go a few more years. But delicious with several hours open. Quite deep but balanced, perfect accompaniment for roasted chicken thighs with feta and olives.

Nov 16th, 2020Very nice St Joseph and a crazy value for the money. For now I’d recommend a 4+ hour decant; also going to send some to storage now for a few years. Deep beautiful red in the glass. Classic Rhône Syrah on the nose with deep restrained dark red fruit and olive. Finish is pure with good acid and medium tannins.
