Tasted blind nailed Meursault! (2019 village from high quality producer to be exact). 2020 village Roulot Meursault needs time to flesh out and a good decant but it’s a killer village wine to no surprise from the master JMR.

A baby but couldn’t resist. Lean and focused. Limestone and tart yellow fruits. Excited to try day 2. Overall this is held up on day 2 but with such a high price point (despite how meticulous these wines are made) And with such a delicate aroma and palette it gives me pause to recommend a $200 plus price point “village” when so many wonderful other options exist

May 17th, 2020Village Meursault from the great Roulot. Highly focused and with excellent precision, intense citrus, lime blossom, a bit of reduction, stony minerality and a clean and persistent finish with very impressive depth for village.

No reduction on the nose, pure and crisp . Apples, pears and lemons on the nose and the palate. The future looks bright.
