Les Luchets Meursault Chardonnay

One of my favorite vintages for Roulot. An absolute classic every time. Chosen over the far too often advanced 2010, 2011 is perfect tonight showing superb depth of aromatics with clean and defined white orchard fruit, spices and toast with a textured and rounded palate and notable length. Perfect white burg off the very special Epicure list.

A little more advanced than previous bottles... Yellow floral notes, some tangy lime, rocks. Great balance. Very pure

Fantastic dinner at Highlands (part 2).

Yes, @Jean-Marc Roulot - 2011 Luchets echoes between the nose and mouth. And accompanied by its birth story reaches into heart and mind.

Oh damn this is sexy stuff. So focused and fine. Yet imbecile depth and length. I said damn!!
