Les Saint Georges has always basically been considered the NSG Grand Cru, if there was one, and such prestige was more than evident with this bottle. It’s deep, intense and alluringly complex with a fantastic balance of fruit and earth expression. It’s bouquet is gorgeous as aromas of rose petals, morello cherries and forest floor leap out of the glass. It has a fantastic texture and mouthfeel and it just wraps around the palate in the best way. The finish is tremendously persistent with silky tannins and great energy. Fantastic bottle. Drink more Chevillon!

Oh so fantastic. Hardly lasted 20 minutes. Soft tannins with slight cedar and earthiness. Thanks to the boys at Elie wine company in Birmingham MI for this one
