Le Petiot Touraine Sauvignon Blanc

Touraine Sauvignon that would blow a lot of Sancerre off the table. Flinty, rich and bust-out ripe, like a lot of Loire ‘18s will be. Theft at $13-$15 retail.

Fruit forward in the nose and on the tongue. Another balanced dry porch wine for summer . It held its own with garlicky salad and turkey meat loaf.

Clear lemon yellow, crispy fresh tone of grape fruit, pineapple, chalk, herb white pepper, after couple of time, I could feel nuance of mango. Fruity attack with crispy acid and salty after.

Buttery

Really great wine for the price. Bright and fresh, aromatic and spicy!

the oily touraine texture is so distinct; i would love to see if i could place it in a blind tasting.

Unsurprisingly refreshing

Erin: very light (nearly nonexistent) acidity, with a marbled, buttery finish. I wouldn't think this was a Sav Blanc, but rather a chenin blanc. 6 out if 10-- would probably go lovely with a spicy dish. Bring this instead of Chardonnay

John: very light acidity, not tart at all, really. Very smooth on the tongue. 7.5/10 as a wine, 6/10 as a sauv blanc (slightly more acidic with food)
