Acts much older than it should....but very good in its own savory, smoky, dried cherry way.

Funky nose, earthy and barnyard with dark fruits, roasted meats, spices, and minerality. Great structure though a bit tight, needs time.

2022 vintage. Sampled via Coravin. Medium-medium heavy body. Vineyard from the highest point in Gevrey-Chambertin. Gorgeous throughout already with surprising, back-end spice fest. Tannins slightly muted but started to creep out after a few minutes in the glass. This likes to speed and is going places. 1.30.26.

This had lots of rich dark cherry, earth, mineral, spice, dried herbs with a touch of blood orange in a rustic style. Although approachable now will be so much better with a few more years in the cellar.
