Mature citrus rind, herb, anise, cherry and spice aromas. Good mid palate texture but the fine grain tannin stands out a bit. A nice wine but not outstanding. May not have had ideal storage.

Gorgeous after a 2 hour decant. Tannins abound. Red fruit and sour cherry. Prune forest floor.

2014. Rich and packed with all those nice fruity and earthy things we associate with good red Burgundy. Drinking surprisingly well for a youngster.

Nothing to write home about. Cherry dominates, but very average all around. Probably similar wines at a lower price point. I’m not a big Pinot Noir / Red Burgundy fan, but trying to branch out. So far, it’s not going well.

Sweet bottle here @Todd Abrams. The color has turned brick orange but still kicking out some nice cherry, herb and dried peat.
