Charles Curtis' Burgundy book has me inspired and soon will have me poor! Cinnamon made chicken thighs, bok choi and rice and I decanted this an hour before dinner. I have always had a soft spot for Chassagne rouge and at dinner we could not remember having one that disappointed. This was crunchy, super fresh, pure and bright without being monochromatic or overly lean. It was very easy to drink and offered up a new subtle flavor each time we tasted. Wow!

Brilliant ruby with a clear rim and medium viscosity. On the nose, you get fresh red fruits and then straight to spices and wet stones. Confirmed on the palate. Fluttering mouthfeel layered with wild red summer berries dancing with a lively acidity that carries the song through a long mineral finish. Dry wine, medium plus acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol and body. Delightful.
