Great nose. Secondary starting. Mushrooms, spice, minerals, sour cherry, mint, undergrowth, very nice and keeps opening. Palate is still a bit backwards initially. Palate is powerful yet opulent and lush with elegant but forceful tannins. Juicy and complex and spicey. Tannins a tiny bit drying but excellent nonetheless.

Sep 21st, 2018Outstanding and in a great place. Sour cherry, floral, green moss, stones, very nuanced. Deep and rich. Wonderful sweet sour cherry fruit and earth. Plump and so nice decaying classic burg nose.

The great vintage shows on both the fruit and structure, yet more soft than anticipated. Brighter fruit than expected, with a very long foresty finish.

Just opened. Needs air. Fruit presenting well, with solid backbone. I do love me my burgundies!

Just ok. Typical red burgundy, nothing offensive but nothing special either. Some cherry fruit with mineral notes. Not a long finish.
