Every once in a while you get to experience a bad bottle. When you get a wine that’s bad, don’t feel bad about sending it back at the restaurant or retuning it to your local wine store where you purchased. This Pouilly-Fuisse was oxidized, where oxygen had caused the wine to chance the character of its chemical components. First thing I noted was that the color was a deep yellow and should be more pale. Aromas had Sherry like scents. Palate revealed burnt tastes. Clearly a bad wine. I’ll grab a new bottle.

Ordered this bottle for dinner while in London. The nose was reminiscent of citrus and honey and the taste had carryover of those honey notes as well as vanilla. Great value for the price as well.
