Replacement bottle for the last corked one. Not bad per say, but not great. Lifted oak aromas with some red fruits and musk. Lacking vitality and was a little garbled on the palate. I blame provenance again.

Mugneret Gibourg Feusselottes 2015 is super sexy, elegant and seductive. Of course it’s young and its new oak is detectable but it’s drinking so well with its layered bouquet and silky, refined and palate caressing texture. Excellent.

Wonderfully balanced acidity to complement its gorgeous purity. Finishes with great length, lift and intensity.

Beautiful nose of ripe cherry, plums and earth. Wonderfully elegant in the mouth with the perfect amount of weight that allows for the fruit to shine . Plenty of structure to allow this to improve and age. A perfect match with our duck. None of the 2009 negatives.
