Apr 22nd, 2021Almost interesting - waiting 8 years for this is more effort than it’s worth. It drinks fine - a little lychee start then a balanced oak finish. Hoping for more but drank it all with lemon veal chops!

Extremely reductive nose and palate. Everything feels clipped short by the reduction. Give this time to come around.

From a restaurant list. Popped, decanted and chilled. Medium gold. Nice weight in the glass. Sweeter nose. Notes of apricot, citrus, earth and a little orange peel. Rich and glycerol in the mouth. Has the characteristic mustiness of Niellon. Took 90 min for the acidity to come on. Good not great.

very intense w great intensity. wood has been completely integrated and for my palate in a great place. acidity w fruit. loved it.
